WHAT IS IT

A party within the party.

Vallarta Pride is one of the largest Pride celebrations in Latin America, and for one weekend in late May, the entire city goes rainbow. Bearadise Bear Pride is the bear-community festival running alongside it, held on the final weekend of the official Pride festivities.

We pioneered the format in 2021. While the mega circuit parties happen at Mantamar, we run our own thing: smaller, sexier, more intimate. Pool parties at Cheeky. Sunset shows at Blue Chairs. Wrestling, drag, Mexican lucha energy. And the only Bear Float in the official Vallarta Pride parade, La Carabana.

Whether you do all five days with an All Access Pass or pick your favorites, Bear Pride is the bear-community heart of Vallarta Pride. The rest of the city can keep their circuit parties. We've got Caletitas.

QUESTIONS

Before you book.

  • What is the difference between Bear Pride and Vallarta Pride?
    Vallarta Pride is the citywide LGBTQ+ Pride celebration, it includes the parade, the Block Party on Lázaro Cárdenas, and large circuit parties at Mantamar. Bearadise Bear Pride is the bear-community festival running parallel to it, on the final weekend. Most of our events are independent and separately ticketed. Only La Carabana (the Bear Float) is part of the official parade.
  • Do Bear Pride tickets cover other Vallarta Pride events?
    No. Each venue and event is ticketed separately, including the official Mantamar Pride events, Industry Nightclub parties, and STUDS bar events. Our tickets cover only Bearadise events.
  • What is the dress code?
    It varies. Most evening events (Welcome Party, parade float) are gay club casual. Cachondos vs. Jariosos is a pool party, bring swimwear. Spicy Sunset suggests jockstraps (optional). Bearadise Beach is men-only and clothing-optional.
  • Who can attend?
    Bearadise welcomes solo attendees and non-bears. Our events are designed for gay bears, cubs, daddies, otters, and bear enthusiasts, but all 18+ adults are welcome. Bearadise Beach is men only.
  • Are there after-parties?
    Yes, every night of Bear Pride coincides with after-parties at Industry, STUDS, and other Zona Romántica venues. These aren't Bearadise-produced and are ticketed separately.
  • Can I take photos?
    We have a strict no-photo policy at our events to protect attendee privacy. Authorized Bearadise photographers will take posed shots, if you want to be in or out of those, just ask. Phones away during pool parties and the beach day.
  • What if I have to cancel?
    All sales are final. No refunds will be issued on ticket purchases. However, Bearadise will honor your ticket for a future similar Bearadise event if you can't attend, with a minimum 24-hour notice in writing. No-shows are not reimbursed.
  • What languages are events held in?
    All events are bilingual, English and Spanish announcements, DJ shoutouts, and emcee work. Our team and most performers speak both languages comfortably.
